Ravensara Essential Oil

Ravensara Essential Oil is a steam distilled lightly herbal scented oil. It has been purported and studied to have immune system boosting and antiviral effects, most notably on the shingles virus. More study is needed to identify which compounds found within the plant have the affects and more conclusive and larger scale results. (6)

Apricot Kernel Oil

This wonderful oil is from Spain, and is a result of cold pressing the kernels. It is naturally very high in Vitamin A, which is excellent for skin regeneration and assists with sun damage.

"In Eastern medicine, bitter apricot seed (Semen Armeniacae amarum) has been traditionally used to treat skin diseases. Bitter apricot oil has been shown to induce apoptosis of HaCaT cells through both death receptor and mitochondrial pathways. Apoptosis has been shown to correlate with inhibition of the NF-κB pathway []. It has been suggested that apricot oil may be a potential candidate for psoriasis treatment given its pro-apoptotic effect on human keratinocytes []."
